Privacy
The privacy of the subjects withwhom SED interacts is considered a very important matter for the Company, so we want toinform you how we collect and use the information aboutyou.
This information has been drafted in accordance to the European regulation on the protection of personal data (EU Regulation no.2016/679) known as GDPR, which states that those who process personal data arerequired to inform the data subject, on what data are processed and on certainelements qualifying the processing: it must take place with correctness, lawfulness and transparency, protecting the confidentiality and rights of third parties.
Below are the principles that SEDhas decided to follow with regard to Privacy:
WHAT DATA DOES SEDCOLLECT?
The ICT systems and softwareprocedures responsible for the operation of our websites or social networks (for example: www.sedgroup.it and Linkedin) acquire,duringtheir normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified datasubjects, but which by their very nature could, through processing andassociations with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. Thiscategory of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computersused by users connecting to the site, the Uniform Resource Identifier (URI)notation addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, themethod used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtainedin response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given bythe server (good, error, etc.) and other parameters related to the user'soperating system and computer environment. This data is used for the purpose ofobtaining anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and tocheck its proper functioning, and is deleted immediately after processing. Thedata could be used for the assessment of liability in case of hypotheticalcomputer crimes against the site.
The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail to the addressesindicated on this site or to employees of the company, or the compilation ofspecial forms, involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address andthe personal data necessary to respond to the requests and /or provide therequested services, as well as any other personal data entered in the letter(and in the annexes to the same) or inthe appropriateforms. By providing us with youremail address or other contact information, you expressly agreeto receive information, in-depth information and reporting of our events byemail.
We also collect two types ofinformation through direct subscription to the Newsletter, contacts on SocialNetworks and participation in Events and Fairs: Personal Information (which can be usedto uniquely identify an individual) and Non-Personal Information (which does not allow identification butuseful for example for internal statistical and market analysis purposes).
WHO DO WE SHAREYOUR DATA WITH?
SED does not share yourPersonal information with third parties (e.g. Magazines, Social Networks,etc.) without prior explicitconsent.
At any time the data controllercan request by e-mail the deletion of such information to SED, which will takecare to forward this request to the media that may be interested and record thedeletion in its archives in order to prevent any future use of such data.
HOW DO WE USE THECOLLECTED DATA?
We collect Personal andnon-Personal Information for the following purposes:
- respond to requests received from the subjects (e.g. Purchase Orders)
- send our free Newsletter with information, insights and reminders
- provide and manage the Services that SED offers
- provide customer service and technical support
- consider the candidates' candidacy for recruitment
- comply with legal obligations
- contact visitors, collaborators and partners by digital, telephone or postal through the dissemination of free insights and reporting of our events.
WHEN CAN WE CONTACTYOU?
SED can contact you periodically through editorial content, appointment reporting and messages derived fromthe subscription to our newsletter or through the personal and voluntaryprovision of personal data.
SED's internalprocedures also provide for the periodic submission of:
- service messages and billing
- important information relating to its services or their use
- reminders or notices regarding commercial and billing items.
HOW MUCH DO WESTORE THE INFORMATION WE HAVE?
The personal and non-personalinformation of the user in our possession may be retained even after thecessation of use of any service or agreement,to the extentthat it is reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes concerning our Users, prevent fraud andabuse, comply with the contracts entered into and/or protect our legitimateinterests.
HOW DO WE STORE ANDSECURE THE INFORMATION WE HOLD?
The collected data is managedthrough on-premis or on-cloud computer systems, protected by authentication,within secure corporate networks. In the event of a proven breach of these databreaches, SED will promptly communicate to the data subjects and the relevantlaw enforcement agencies by activating all the procedures provided for by law.
WHAT ARE YOURRIGHTS?
We remind you that you have theright at any time to obtain confirmation of theexistence or not of the personal dataconcerning you and stored by us, or part of them, and to know its content, verify its accuracy or request itsintegration, updating or rectification.
You also have the right torequest the deletion, anonymous transformation or blocking of dataprocessed in violation of the law, as wellas to request the limitation or oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, their processing. Requests should be made:by e-mail: info@sedgroup.it
