Project SmartISSS - a new monitoring system for intensive warehouses

It is with great pleasure that our R&D announces the complition of SmartISSS (Smart Industrial Steel Structures) research project, funded under the Tuscany POR FESR 2014-2020. All the technical objectives set have been achieved.

The project, born thanks to the close collaboration between a pool of Tuscan companies and the University of Florence, make possible to create a real-time structural monitoring system for automatic intensive warehouses.

The system uses advanced electronic and mechanical systems to continuously verify the structural strenght of a warehouse, the static and dynamic stresses, the internal temperature and humidity, and the external atmospheric conditions.

The data are transmitted to a database and are processed with a predictive analysis tool located in Florence.
